Modoc Project: Battle Mt. District

The Company's Modoc Project is located near Battle Mountain, Nevada approximately three miles from Newmont's Phoenix-Fortitude property and adjacent to the Lewis joint venture with Madison Minerals (www.madisonminerals.com). The property consists of 108 federal unpatented mining claims controlled 100% by the company and 12 claims controlled one-third by the Company and two-thirds by Gale Peak Resources Group. Golden Predator has the right to conduct operations on the jointly controlled claims pursuant to a mining lease.

Gold mineralization at Modoc is associated with quartz stockworks within a biotite granodiorite porphyry intrusion and with intrusive breccia at its contact. While the primary structural control on the mineralization is not clearly defined by the current drilling, work to date outlines a 2000' x 300' zone of mineralization following an ENE trend along the northern/NW margin of the intrusion, and is open in all directions. This zone is drill tested for approximately 1500' of the strike length, with the identified zone going under alluvial cover to the west and is extended to the east as indicated by several +0.5 ppm surface rock chips.

Exploratory drilling by prior owners of the property was primarily confined to the highly altered and anomalous granodiorite formations with mixed results to a depth of approximately 550 feet. One deep drill hole (approximately 2700 feet) was drilled by a prior owner and reported highly pyritized-altered rock with assays as high as 20-ppm silver and 5300 ppm copper. It was interpreted as nearing the Golconda Thrust; perhaps of more importance is the potential for high-grade copper mineralization associated with the stock, similar to the Fortitude deposit.

Best drill intercepts to date include 65 ft of 0.91 ppm (0.027 opt) Au from 485 ft depth, including 20' of 1.6 ppm (0.05 opt) Au in drill hole NMD_001 and 180 ft of 0.38 ppm (0.011opt) Au from 250' depth in drill hole MO_1. Several of the historic Modoc workings are located at the heart of this mineralized zone located on north-south to N 25o E quartz veins with up to 200 feet of continuity. Samples from outcroppings of the north-south structural zones grade in excess of 0.120 opt gold at surface. The Company's interpretation of the data and work completed indicates that further exploration is warranted.
