Yukon - Tintina Gold Belt
Cynthia Property, Yukon Project

Target
Intrusion-Related Gold Deposit and Epithermal Gold-Silver Veins

Property Overview
The Cynthia Project consists of 219 mineral claims covering approximately 4570ha, and is located 160km northeast of Ross River, and 60km west of the Mactung Deposit, in north eastern Yukon. It is located within the productive Tintina Gold Belt which hosts several major deposits including Donlin Creek, Pogo, Fort Knox, Keno Hill, Casino and the recently discovered White Gold deposit.

The property covers a large (greater than 2x2km) zone of gold mineralization related to a Cretaceous Tombstone Suite quartz monzonite intrusive body. Gold grades of up to 16 gpt have been obtained at the intersections of several mineralizing structures.

The property is located approximately 10km north of a winter road extending from the North Canol Road to the Plata Airstrip, and is accessible by helicopter.

Golden Predator has an option to earn 100% interest in the property, subject only to a 3% NSR Royalty and the terms of the Option Agreement.

Historical Exploration
The Cynthia property was originally staked as the ART 1-12 claims in 1967 by the Hess Project (Atlas EL, Quebec Cartier Mining Company, and Phillips Brothers (Canada) Ltd.). And in 1968, the companies performed grid soil sampling, and magnetic and electromagnetic surveys (Yukon MINFILE, 2001).

In 1981, the property was restaked by Union Carbide Canada Ltd. who conducted mapping and geochemistry surveys The program located weakly pyritic to arsenopyritic quartz veins that returned values up to 3.13 gpt Au, 775 gpt Ag, 795 gpt Sb and 1.7% Pb. Breccia zones returned values up to 660 ppb Au; and a black chert breccia returned 3.7% Pb and 948 gpt Ag.

The property was restaked again in 1991 as the Hess 1-64 claims and again in 1995 as the EM 1-112. Yukon Gold Corp. and Cyprus Canada both held options on the property and conducted soil sampling and reconnaissance programs in 1995 and 1997 respectively.

Mineralization and Geology
The property covers a large (greater than 2x2 km) area of gold mineralization associated with two Cretaceous Tombstone Suite Quartz Monzonite intrusions intruding into a gossanous limestone, in the Northeast portion of the Tintina Gold Province.

The gold mineralization at the Cynthia Property is structurally controlled and is concentrated along district--scale faults zones. These northwest striking structures host abundant gold-bearing massive and drusy quartz veins with zones of intense stockwork and strong brecciation, as well as numerous mineralized felsic dykes.

Samples from the mineralized structures have given gold grades in the range of 200 ppb to 2.0-3.0 gpt Au, with higher (up to 16 gpt Au) values attributed to the fault intersection areas. Gold mineralization is associated with sulphide minerals including pyrite and arsenopyrite and often have elevated As, Bi, and Ag values associated with the higher gold values.

A later mineralizing episode produced sulphide mineral-bearing chalcedony and drusy quartz veins, with gold concentrations accompanied by elevated Sb, Hg, Ag and Pb values, suggesting the probability of epithermal style gold mineralization as well as intrusion-related gold mineralization.

Current Work
Golden Predator is currently compiling all historical geological data for the Cynthia Property, and will use this data to plan future work programs for this property.
