![]() | Bald Mountain Royalty Division Bald Mountain Project, White Pine County Nevada Gold Standard Royalty Company (GSR), a wholly owned subsidiary of Golden Predator Corp., owns an overriding royalty interest in an extensive area (~1,989 unpatented mining claims) in the Bald Mountain Mining District that includes various deposits and resources controlled by Barrick Gold Corp. (Barrick). GSR also owns 286 unpatented lode mining claims which are subject to an existing Mining Lease with Barrick that contains, among other things, advance and production royalty payments to GSR. The Bald Mountain mine lies within the Southern Ruby Mountains of northeastern Nevada, approximately 110 kilometers northwest of Ely, Nevada and 110 kilometers southeast of Elko, Nevada. Barrick is currently operating an open-pit, run-of-mine, heap leach gold mine. The ore treatment method is based on conventional heap leaching technology followed by carbon absorption with ore sourced from several deposits in the district from various land positions. Gold Resource In 2008, Barrick reports on its website and in its annual report that the Bald Mountain Mine produced 105,000 ounces of gold at a total cash cost of $638 per ounce. Proven and probable mineral reserves for the Bald Mountain property as of December 31, 2008 can be found in Barrick's 2008 year-end report posted to SEDAR (www.sedar.com) on March 24, 2009. The portion of Bald Mountain's resource and reserves located on claims subject to GSR lease and royalty agreements have not been calculated independently nor prepared for public disclosure. The proven and probable reserves reported by Barrick Gold Corporation are not representative of the mineralization attributable to GSR's royalty income. Maps & Photos
